This picnic area is located at an elevation of 3,200 feet near the top of Round Knob in Greene County. A pavilion with a fireplace provides an excellent group gathering area.
Evidence of nature’s fury can be seen along the road. Look for fire scarred trees from the 1988 Davis Creek Fire and damage from a 1996 wind storm.
