At 3,800 feet in elevation, this campground offers an escape from summer’s heat and excellent birding opportunities. The campground provides access to the Mount Rogers Trail which goes to the top of Mount Rogers. Other features includes a creek, playground and the Whispering Waters Nature Trail.
